Ross has an in-depth knowledge of resource management practice as well as a detailed knowledge of the Council planning documents. He has appeared at numerous Council hearings and has presented expert evidence before the Planning Tribunal and the Environment Court on many occasions.

Ross has over 42 years experience in local resource management, formerly working for the planning sections in both the Gisborne District Council and City Council. He has worked as an accredited Independent Commissioner. Ross established the Wanaka office in 2017 and now services clients in both Gisborne and Wanaka.
